By using the mathematics introduced by Descartes, Newton, and Euler, it became possible to verify some ideas promulgated by the ancient Greek philosophers. Experimental findings by Faraday and Tesla, formulated theoretically by Maxwell, can now be explained in mechanical terms. Thus, the reason for the existence of electromagnetic phenomena, and gravity, are finally understood. Past efforts along this line were abandoned because the properties of the ether were not understood. It turns out that electrons and photons are not particles, but instead represent vortices and wave-packets in the aether, consisting of gyrons, which are particles, but they are much smaller than electrons. This resolves the relativity confusion in physics.
